| 2008 Port Chester High School Band Camp |
| Band Camp will be held for two weeks again this year. The first week will be for the entire band (winds, percussion and guard) from August 18 through August 22 from 9:00AM to 1:30 PM at the PC Middle School. The second week will be at Crawford Park from August 25 through August 28 from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM for the FULL BAND - WINDS, PECUSSION and COLOR GUARD. This week will conclude on THRUSDAY evening with a 7:00 PM performance for all family and friends. These two weeks are ABSOLUTELY MANDATORY. We cannot have any excuses due to the extensive marching show that needs to be learned. It is crucial that each of you makes a total commitment and dedicated effort to practice and learn your music prior to camp. |
| The week following Band Camp will start our regular Tuesday and Thursday evening rehearsals AT THE MIDDLE SCHOOL from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Also we will perform at all PCHS home football games with Full Band. Attendance at these games is MANDATORY! |
| THINGS TO BRING TO BAND CAMP |
| 1) Wear appropriate summer clothing |
| 2) Baseball caps / hats |
| 3) Sun glasses and sun block |
| 4) Lunch and plenty of drinks or water |
| 5) Rain gear we will practice in the rain |
| 6) Instruments, music and portable music stand |
| NO STUDENT WILL BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE CAMP FOR ANY REASON UNLESS A PARENT SENDS A SIGNED NOTE! |
